E. J. Godwin doesn't write fiction. He creates worlds to discover.

Even when he was a shy, 10-year-old boy he could never stay away too long from his one never-faltering passion, the stories and artwork of his imagination. Even today he still enjoys art as a secondary outlet for his creativity, but the written word has always provided the most freedom and flexibility. For that reason, fantasy and science fiction have always been his favorite genres. As the years passed he added more depth and texture to his inventions, until now, with the help of his editor, Erica Orloff, he has released his stories for readers to enjoy, and hopes to share more in the future.

He lives in Michigan with an abysmally stupid yet endearing Persian cat, and enjoys bike riding, hiking ... just about anything that frees his imagination.
