Anna Leary grew up in an Australian family, where she learned at an early age that quality food was an essential ingredient to good living.
Her parents were avid travelers and instilled in Anna the importance of experiencing the many diverse cuisines from around the globe. The Kitchen at the Leary house was always an international one.
In 2006, Anna decided to follow in her parents' footsteps and take a four-month culinary journey across Europe. This journey led Anna through 15 different countries, where she visited local street markets and learned international food traditions from local cooks across Europe.
In 2010, Anna traveled to Thailand for four weeks, where she spent her days researching the art of street food.
Anna leads a healthy lifestyle through fitness and nutritious cuisine. She believes in preparing fresh, nutritious meals to assist her clients in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Her goal is to assist them in making healthier choices and to make them aware that eating healthy doesn't mean sacrificing flavor or variety.
Anna now resides in New York city and writing books for everyone who share in her philosophy and passion for opening client's eyes to a healthier lifestyle.
She got a master's degree in Food Studies from New York University and a culinary degree from the Institute of Culinary Education.
