About the Author

Manchester born Diane Ezzard writes psychologically charged domestic noir mysteries and thrillers about ordinary people coping with extraordinary circumstances. She is the author of the Sophie Brown series.
In her previous life, she worked as a HR manager, counsellor, ran numerous businesses including a café, travel business, cleaning company and hair and beauty salon. She has also worked as an emergency medical dispatcher and managed a charity.
She is now doing what she loves best—writing novels. She lives and works in South-East England, close to her family. When she’s not writing, you will probably find her fighting pirates and dinosaurs with her young grandchildren.
