About the Author

Jim Meeks-Johnson grew up on a small farm in Iowa, then obtained degrees in mathematics and psychology from the University of Iowa and "Mathematical Psychology" from the University of Michigan. He worked for many years as a software developer in a think tank for medical informatics research at Indiana University. He enjoys trail running, reading both science fiction and science fact, and sending time with his family in Indianapolis.
Jim is a life-long science fiction reader who turned into a writer around 2010. He soon earned multiple awards in the L Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest and joined the Science Fiction Writers of America. He's published short stories in Compelling Science Fiction, The Colored Lens, and Aurora Wolf.
