About the Author

In January 2011, Annette Hadley stepped away from full time work to slow down and explore her creative side. She had already been journaling and photographing life for years, and now started painting, drawing, illustrating and writing a memoir for additional expression.
Before, during, and since this time, she traveled extensively – living, working, exploring, volunteering, and trekking in over thirty countries. Annette seeks, sees, hears, and experiences life and love everywhere she goes, noticing beauty missed by others.
Raised in the Midwest, USA, in a large family, she became a nurse, married, and found herself raising teenagers before she turned thirty. Twenty years later, after her marriage ended, she moved to London to live and work.
In June 2014, after working twenty years in perioperative nursing and fifteen years in healthcare clinical informatics, Annette took a leap of faith to live out her life as an artist, writer and creative entrepreneur.
Now, as founder and owner of Abundance Art LLC, she considers herself first and foremost a beloved child of God. As her website proclaims, she is called to “live out the rest of my life in this endeavor. I count myself truly blessed. Because every day, I choose life, I choose love. I have found my purpose in living abundantly, nourishing the world with that which nourishes me.”
