Yossi Lapid was born with a tooth in Transylvania, Romania! But this is not the only reason why he decided to write children's book about Halloween. After a long and successful career as a university professor teaching political science and international relations, Lapid decided that it was time to again see the world through the innocent and hopeful eyes of a young child. Lapid writes children's books to remind grown-ups of the importance of childhood as an essential launchpad into a happy adulthood and to encourage children to be children, to pursue big dreams and to believe that they will eventually happen.
Yossi Lapid is the author of the best-selling and awards-winning Snowman Paul picture-book series. Lapid has three children and he lives with his wife Susan in New Mexico.
