About the Author

Anthony Brown has been an expert botanist for 25 years and has collaborated with the best environmental consultancies and conservation organizations in the United States of America. He graduated from OSU (Oregon State University), following one of the top courses in botany.
Also, he’s been a promoter during his career of environmental sustainment, and he’s been a member of different commissions to support the cause. He believes in the connection between humans and the Earth, trying to educate his students, friends and everyone related to him to respect this Planet and its legacy.
He’s been raised in a typical US family, where meat, carbohydrates, and sugar were the main nutritional elements on the home table.
Then, in his adulthood, he follows a different nutritional path, studying botanic and discovering what Nature offers to humans, wild edible plants ready to be harvested and consumed.
Additionally, he becomes part of that little group of people who care about longevity, environmental sustainability, and mental health.
To him, this book is a toolbox of natural solutions to help people that want to shift their lives from being chaotic, and fast to relaxed, slow, and time-saving. He hopes that this book will help people to learn how to forage wild edible plants in the marvelous Pacific Northwest zone.
Everyone comes into the world with a purpose. Anthony Brown was raised in a classic American family with nutritional issues and environmental indifference, so he made it his life's mission to reconnect people to Nature, teaching them the food resources we can take to live a better life.
