Sand and Smoke

Al Hardin is a nomad with a secret. In the deserts of his world, dragons are not an uncommon sight. When news comes of a powerful weapon being built in his country, he's roped into a plan for a raid to stop the weapon. Forced to work with a ragtag criminal crew, he learns that the weapon's target is the kingdom to the east, where a girl who dreams of becoming a dragon rider awaits her destiny.
