About the Author

Daniel Gershkovitz was born in Israel in 1980. He completed his military service as an officer in the Israeli Air Force as lieutenant. He holds a B.A. in Psychology and Criminology as well as a degree in Special Ed.
At the age of twenty-four, after a trip to fourteen countries, Gershkovitz published four successful children's books and at the same time, began working at "Manof Youth Village", established to provide youth at risk with a second chance in life.
Since 2012, he has been working as a representative of the AJJDC - the largest non-profit American Jewish organization in the world. During the years 2012-2015, he was the Joint representative in the Ural - Volga area, located in the center of Russia. Since then, he has been representing the organization in the central and western parts of Ukraine.
