About the Author

Jessica Levine is the critically acclaimed author of The Geometry of Love, a Top 10 Women’s Fiction Title in Booklist, which dubbed it an “outstanding first novel.” Foreword Reviews praised her second novel, Nothing Forgotten, as "an example of women's fiction at its best," while the San Francisco Chronicle described it as a "vivid travelogue" with "delicious insights into Italian life." Nothing Forgotten was both a winner and a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards contest.
Levine is also the author of Delicate Pursuit: Discretion in Henry James and Edith Wharton,. Her essays, short stories, and poetry have appeared in many publications including The Southern Review and The Huffington Post. She has translated several books from French and Italian into English.
Levine holds an M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of California at Berkeley, where she was a Mellon Fellow. She has broad experience teaching in both the public and private sector. She recently led a year-long workshop on writing the novel at the American Library in Paris.
