About the Author

Louise Burfitt-Dons is a crime novelist and screenwriter who has worked with producers in the UK and the US. Recent films include Mother of All Secrets (2018), The Ex Next Door (2019, Lifetime), and Christmas in the Highlands (2019). Kidnapped to the Island (2020)

Louise stood for parliament in the 2015 General Election. In 2001 Louise set up the UK children's anti-bullying charity Act Against Bullying. Unsurprisingly political machinations and bullying feature in the plots of her 'ripped from the headlines thrillers'.
