Hi, I'm JD Oppenheim. I hope you are reading this because you've read one of my sci-fi books and enjoyed it, or are thinking of reading one.
I write books for you, the savvy sci-fi reader, who enjoy action, suspense, mechanized warriors controlled by worms encased in alacyte chest plates, and gunboats retrofitted with pirate-tech railguns. And you might even enjoy characters who grow and change as the story moves along.
For my readers, I'd like for them to fall in love with the people in my novels and get lost in the story--to not want it to end. I miss my characters when I'm done with a novel and I look forward to writing the next one so I can visit them again. I just want to have a few readers who buy in and fully enjoy the ride. There's a big world in these stories full of love, hate, anger, fear, cowardice and heroism and its an honor to share it.
