The Trailer Behind the Garage

I am the father of two girls and a boy – teenagers at the time of writing his first novel, The Trailer Behind the Garage – and live with my “smarter-than-me” wife in the Houston, Texas, suburb of Cypress, which is the setting for my novels. I am currently employed by a Big Four accounting firm as a customs broker and global trade consultant.
I spent two years in Japan in my youth, teaching English in Baptist churches in the Nagasaki area. While I was getting used to Asian culture, my wife, who had recently arrived in the US from China for studies, was getting used to American culture. We’ve spent the last 25 years getting used to each other.
