M.H. Sargent got on the bestseller list with Seven Days From Sunday, a taunt thriller set in Iraq. Since he didn't fight too much with the characters he created, he kept them around for each of the next seven books in the MP-5 CIA series. Sometimes he still wants to kill off McKay, the sexy doctor/CIA spook, but so far, she has survived just fine. Sargent lives in Arizona with a lab mix that needs his regular doses of Prozac, a German Shepherd that guards the homestead and a cat that rules the roost. He enjoys long hikes, mountain biking and writing, not necessarily in that order.
