Best-selling author Suzanne White is American. She has lived in Paris since 1961. She started writing articles for women's magazines in 1971. Then, one day in 1973, a professor friend asked her why she hadn't written a book yet. Suzanne resisted. "I can't write a book. They're too long." The friend replied, "I know people a lot stupider than you who write very long books." And so inspired, Suzanne White started writing books.
