About the Author

For more than twenty years I almost passed as normal in several well-known financial firms in London. But I tired of being a plodding bean counter and jumped off the corporate hamster wheel to concentrate on writing.

I now write thrillers with a strong ethical theme. Although they are set in the world of high finance, in essence the stories are about people and what motivates them - greed, fear, insecurity, ambition - the usual suspects. You will certainly recognize the personality types, whatever your walk of life. My writing draws heavily on my insight into the business world and in particular the uncomfortable conflict between individual morality and corporate objectives. Often, the difference between the hero and the villain lies only in their ability to overcome their weaknesses, rather than succumb to them.

I live in Brighton, on the south coast of the UK, with my husband David. As well as being an author, I’m a trustee of a small non-profit organization, which helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to maximize their career and education opportunities.
