Darkness Stirs

Luke Kramarz
Darkness Stirs is the first book in the Renewed World Saga and my debut novel. The story follows Bjorn, the son of Jarl Aerik, as he sets out to rescue his father from an unknown enemy. On this journey Bjorn and his friends will realize just how little they know of the world. Darkness Stirs is heavily influenced by Eastern European myths and oral histories from the author's background.

About the Author

Luke Kramarz was born in Southern Poland but grew up in Chicago, Illinois. A steady diet of classic Sword and Sorcery epics started him fantasizing about one day writing his own. Realizing that he needed to get a big boy job, Luke studied History and Sociology at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, where he met his wife. Then realizing that history and sociology likely won’t pay the bills, Luke joined the Army and moved to Colorado, where he still wishes he was. Bjorn’s Raid is the prequel to Luke’s first Fantasy Trilogy that begins with Darkness Stirs and will hopefully enable him to become a full-time author.
