Máire O’ Leary grew up loving books in a house with no television. As a child, she visited the library fortnightly and always dreamed of having her name on a book cover. ‘Freewheeling to Love’ has fulfilled that dream for her.
She is happiest in the great outdoor’s and living in Killarney, Co. Kerry where she is blessed with easy access to wonderful lakes, mountains, rivers and the beach. A good day out for her is spent with her husband and two boys in nature.
She works as a Health Promotion Officer with Cork Kerry Community Healthcare. For the past 16 years she have predominantly worked in the field of Sexual Health Promotion.
‘Freewheeling to Love’ started out as something to entertain herself during her first maternity leave 7 years ago and the Covid lockdown inspired her to finish it. It has been a labour of love for her and she sincerely hopes you enjoy reading it as much as she did writing it.
