For the first 23 years of his life, Nissan Louie never read a single book - nor did he ever dream of becoming a writer. In fact, he loathed the very thought of reading! Something inexplicable happened, and, at the age of 24, Nissan absolutely fell in love with books!
It was only at the age of 38 that Nissan began to dream about the book, "Joe and Anna Byrd", that would bring joy and happiness to children around the world. Nissan received such incredible feedback from bookworms, that it fueled him to write even to the wee hours of the morning.
Nissan recently finished Joe & Anna Byrd, and the project took on a whole new meaning. He views life, and everything in it, as a huge miracle. Nissan hopes to bring all the bookworms to center stage, in every aspect of society, young and old alike and make them Knights of the Disappearing Book.
