About the Author

Aleta Maree was raised on a farm in a small-town community in Washington State. She pursued the classic fairytale American dream and was the first in her immediate family to obtain a college education. After 33 years of clawing her way to the top of the corporate food chain and after a core value clash with her life-time employer, she decided to follow her dream and write books while the world's pandemic worked itself out. She is an avid student of quality assurance, project management, operational controls, and continuous improvement.

She married her high school sweetheart and together they have two children. Aleta and her hubby recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary and are looking forward to another 30 years, unless God has another plan in mind.

Aleta started her authorship by working through and sharing her real-life whistleblower story. One year later she pulled together a collection of stories written from a contemporary fiction standpoint and created a group discussion guide to help other women work through the consequences of past trauma. Currently, Aleta is writing her favorite genre which is a full-blown science fiction interstellar journey that will include several shared real-life experiences of interesting, unexplainable, and unidentified out-of-this-world phenomena.
