Matador

I'm the author of the six-book Barrett Mason Thriller series, but have also been the editor of a tiny college sports mag, a warehouse grunt, a paper pusher, a TV news nobody, an unrepentant party hound, and a backpack video journalist who chronicled everything from the estate sale of a Ponzi scheme conman to a lawyer moonlighting as a pro wrestler. I also did my bit as a pesky freelance investigative reporter, finding a person or two who didn’t want to be found.

I aspire to be the patron saint of underdogs, misfits, troublemakers, wanderers and anyone with a strong sense of comedic timing. As such, those are the characters I write, and the stories I tell.
