About the Author

For many years, award-winning novelist Susan Fleet was a professional trumpeter in the Boston area. While teaching at Brown University and Berklee College of Music she began writing crime fiction. In 2001 she moved to New Orleans, the setting for her Frank Renzi crime thrillers. The Premier Book Awards named Absolution Best Mystery-Thriller of 2009. Feathered Quill Book Awards named Book 3, Natalie's Revenge, best Mystery-Thriller of 2014. She's currently hard at work on Book 7, another Frank Renzi crime thriller.

Susan's other passion is promoting talented female musicians, jazz and classical. While teaching at Berklee, she created and taught a course about them. Her e-book, Women Who Dared: Trailblazing 20th Century Musicians, spotlights violinist Maud Powell and trumpeter Edna White. She also blogs about true crime and has published two ebooks: DARK DEEDS: Serial killers, stalkers and domestic homicides, Volumes 1 & Volume 2
