I am an avid reader as well as an author. I have published seven books in my James Pace thriller series as well as the first book in a sci-fi series, a children's book and a poetry anthology. I have worked in the fields of mental health, criminal justice and education over the years and these experiences have been invaluable to me. All my books are self-published and most of the reviews I receive are positive, which really helps motivate me to keep writing. It also makes me determined to write even better books, each time.
I am married, with three amazing children. Any spare time I get (which isn't much) is spent with my family or enjoying a few hobbies e.g. riding horses, shooting (targets only!), driving 4x4s, playing guitar and trying to keep fit.
I live in the UK but love travelling, especially visiting the US, but there are still dozens of places on my wish list. I haven't yet made it to Memphis or New Orleans but hopefully I will get there soon.
I am genuinely grateful to anyone who takes a chance on reading one of my books and I really hope they give enjoyment, which is always my intention.
