Katherine Heason is a new author, who writes young adult fiction set in the real world, with a sprinkling of magic.
The Fire Within was her debut novel, and is the first book in the Witches of Whitley Bay trilogy. The last novel she released was Phoenix in December 2020, which completed the series.
Readers of the Witches of Whitley Bay series "loved all the twists" and "couldn't put them down".
Katherine's writing dream started later in life, after she adopted her son, and realised anything is possible, if you put your mind to it. It's currently a hobby for her, and she fits it in around her busy career and home life.
She lives in the North East of England, where her Witches of Whitley Bay series is set and loves the beach and the sea.
