Barbara Best is a professional copywriter and artist with over twenty-five years in the fields of Marketing and Graphic Design. Recently retired, she is now able to focus all her attention on the art of words and her love of writing. Living history, firsthand, as an avid American Civil War reenactor, Best's participation in Civil War era events held at national battlefields and heritage sites throughout the East Coast of the United States eventually formed the backdrop for her debut novel.
