The Tollkeeper

The Tollkeeper
Mark R. Vickers
Klaus keeps a low profile as a tollkeeper along a lonely, dark causeway. Then a drunken motorist spurs the telling of two entwined tales: an epic coming-of-age tale set in medieval Norway and a modern noir mystery set in Florida. Often hilarious, sometimes heartrending and always an adventure, The Tollkeeper is a unique literary fantasy blending elements of Tolkien, Hiaasen and the sagas of yore.
