When I wrote the 1st book I thought it would either take off or flop. If sales took off I'd write more. If it was a flop, I'm done. I was signing books one day when a kid came up to me and said, "You're my favorite author. When's your next book coming out?" Gulp. I had to finish the series, no matter how well it sold!
